What are the benefits of your services?
You will save time and avoid frustration.
Many of the doctoral students I have helped wish they had found me sooner. They frequently come to me only after they have gone through multiple rewrites of their proposal and/or analysis as a result of trying to get through the statistics on their own. Others have used the services of a less qualified person (e.g. friend of a friend who knows something about statistics) who ends up making mistakes and/or is less responsive to the student's needs.
Another source of frustration and lost time that many of my clients wish they had avoided is the steep learning curve for using SPSS. Many students are unsure which procedures and options to use and they struggle with interpreting the SPSS output.

Where are you located?
My home is in Addison, Illinois, but since the whole consulting process is done by phone and email, I can work with doctoral students throughout the world. I am also very easy to reach 7 days a week 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM CST.
Are you familiar with my subject area?
I have extensive experience with research projects in psychology, social sciences, education, medicine, business and many other areas.
Which software program do you use to analyze data?
I use the latest version of SPSS which is a highly respected professional statistical analysis package for social sciences research. I also have extensive experience with SAS and Splus software, but I no longer use these programs because I prefer SPSS.
Do you have a university affiliation?
No. I terminated my position at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood Illinois on 9/5/2003 in order to more fully develop my statistical consulting business, Statistically Significant Consulting, LLC. I worked as a biostatistician at Loyola for three years. Prior to that I was a biostatistician at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago for seven years.
